Hundreds of business owners go for their licences at Ladysmith Town Hall

Hundreds of business owners flocked to the Town Hall today (May 7) to get a temporary business licence.

Businessmen affected by the level 4 Covid-19 lockdown lined up at the back entrance to the Town Hall, where they had their temperatures checked and their hands sanitized before entering the premises.

Thereafter, all adhered to social distancing as they sat outside on chairs before being taken into the hall to apply for temporary business licences.

Speaking to one business owner, she congratulated the municipal staff on their excellent service and the efficient manner in which the process was conducted. She even thanked all the staff members for their friendliness and kindness while going about their duties.
