Ekuvukeni woman brutally raped and shot dead

Ekuvukeni detectives are investigating a case of murder, as well as rape, after a 25-year-old woman was brutally raped and then killed. The rape happened on Sunday morning.

After the sexual assault, the victim was shot and killed by an unknown male.

It is believed that the woman had been taken to a vacant property, where the attack took place.

According to police, the motive for the shooting is unknown at this stage.

The deceased has not yet been identified.
