Watch: Burst pipe angers Platrand Avenue residents

Motorists are urged to be careful when driving in this area, as the road surface is wet and slippery

Water has been pouring down Platrand Avenue since early this morning (February 21).

People in the area are now wondering when uThukela plans to send out workers to fix the problem, because, in the meantime, hundreds if not thousands of litres of clean drinking water is going to waste.

The swirling water made it difficult for children to walk to school, and motorists have to drive slowly so as not to flood their engines.
