A memorial service for the late Dr Joseph Shabalala will be held today (February 18) in Ladysmith.
The service will be at the Indoor Sports Complex, starting at 11am.

Joseph Shabalala passed away last Tuesday at the age of 79 after a long illness. Dr Koseph Shabalala was born on August 28, 1940, and not 1941, as stated in other publications. This information was provided by his manager, Romeo Qetsinani.
President Cyril Ramaphosa has declared a Special Official Funeral Category 2 in honour of Dr Joseph Shabalala, the late founder of Grammy Award winning choral group Ladysmith Black Mambazo.
