Good news as dam levels remain high in Ladysmith area

Spioenkop Dam is now over 74%, which bodes well for the town

Ladysmith has been getting a fair amount of rain, so you may be wondering how this has affected dam levels.

Well, here are the most recently recorded dam levels in the Ladysmith area.

Spioenkop Dam has gone up by one per cent in just a week from 73.3% to 74.3%.

Driel Barrage remains full to the brim on 100.3%, while Woodstock Dam is on 85.2%.

Many motorists who travelled on the N3 towards Ladysmith noticed that Wagendrift Dam is overflowing. Yes, it is now on an impressive 100.6%.

Sterkfontein Dam will keep the fishermen happy on 91.7%.

Still the lowest dam in the KZN region is Albert Falls on 30.1%.
