Trees were uprooted, windows left broken and shelters blown apart when a heavy storm blew through Durnacol yesterday.
The heavy hailstorm tore through the town at 5pm, leaving a trail of destruction behind.
Nearby Dannhauser also experienced heavy rains but only a handful of hailstones fell.
Heavy hail blanketed the ground, also damaging homes in the area.
Residents are counting the cost of the damage and trying to repair what can be salvaged.
