Trophies mark Swim Studio’s quarter-century
Swimmers are honoured with awards as Swim Studio celebrates its 25th year.
Swim Studio celebrated its 25th year in 2019. Its trophy winners were also announced at the end of last year.
Of the 340 swimmers who attended, 70 per cent of them (ranging from nine months to 58 years old) were awarded certificates or badges for either learning swimming skills or mastering some of the four Olympic strokes.
Swimmers representing 36 different schools, and some not in school yet, also proved their levels of competence on the day.
Families were there to support them and had a splendid time around the pool. Although everyone has developed their skills extensively, one learner per age group and certain achievements were announced at a special separate presentation.
Camille Honiball from Swim Studio thanked her dedicated staff and every parent for their support during the past year, which was the studio’s 25th year of serving the community of Newcastle safely. Congratulations to each swimmer!
