Legacy team takes another step for charity
Join Team LAL at the Memel Walk, and help improve the lives of the children of Môrester Children’s Home.
Team Leaving a Legacy (LAL) is just R1 380 short of raising R25 000 for charity.
The countdown has begun for the Memel Walk on August 9, and at the apex of the team’s fifth anniversary, Môrester Child and Youth Care Centre is the beneficiary for the 2019 campaign, which bears the official hashtag #whenfriendsbecomefamily.
The team recently announced its partnership with Newcastle Corner and dedicated representatives could not contain their excitement.
LAL’s Susan Pitout said the aim was bring about positive change in the community, one child at a time.
“I am very excited about Leaving a Legacy’s new partnership with the Newcastle Corner and I thank Marianka, Steven and Neil and everyone representing Newcastle Corner, for being a part of the Môrester extended family,” said Pitout.
Pitout encouraged businesses to pledge a minimum of R100 per participant to donate to this worthy cause.
“We look forward to a fruitful relationship between Leaving a Legacy and our business community. Thank you, again for supporting #whenfriendsbecomefamily in support of #Morester Newcastle,” added Pitout.
