Runners undaunted by winter frost
The numbers were boosted somewhat by visitors from out of town, who joined in the hearty applause for parkrunners taking on their 50th event.
A smaller, but nevertheless determined group of parkrunners hit the trail on Saturday.
During the weekly Grey Goose parkrun, which took place with the mercury hovering a few degrees above freezing point, enthusiasm was high.
It took only a brief moment for competitors to begin thawing out.
