NewCare Women’s Circle gives back to the community
Roy thanked the women of the NWC who assisted in making up the packs, as well as the community for their contributions.
For the fi fth consecutive year, Newcare Women’s Circle (NWC) has donated hampers of personal items to various non-profit organisations in Newcastle.
Nil Desperandum (Association for the Physically Challenged), Home Meah and Morester Children’s Home are among the recipients.

“I decided that nothing will be better than giving to the needy, abandoned and physically disabled,” says Jasmine Roy, chairperson of NWC.
Roy thanked the women of the NWC who assisted in making up the packs, as well as the community for their contributions.
“We thank our donors especially educators and friends from Suryaville Primary School who helped pack the hampers.”
Around 100 packs in total were given to the various organisations.
In conclusion, Roy thanks her husband who she says is the driving force behind her and a constant supporter of her
impassioned charity work.
