JUST IN: Motorist crashes through wall in Lennoxton
Police are investigating the incident, after the motorist fled the scene on foot.
Residents at Chenia’s Villa, at the intersection of Carrington and Centre Streets, were left flabbergasted this morning (November 14), when a car crashed through the property’s enclosure wall.
According to one of the residents, the incident occurred shortly before 9am.
“The driver went over the intersection, knocked into a bakkie and then drove through the wall,” she said.

The motorist then fled the scene on foot, leaving his passenger and vehicle at the scene of the crash.
The bakkie’s motorist was taken to hospital to be evaluated for his injuries.
One of the residents from the Chenia’s Villa was also taken to hospital for shock.
The motorist has since been identified and police investigations are now underway.
