No arrests made after missing woman found murdered in Peacetown

Ladysmith police are still investigating and are appealing to anyone with info to come forward

Police have failed to make any arrests after members of the community found a woman’s body in Peacetown on February 4. The deceased had previously been reported missing.

When officers arrived at the scene, they were greeted by disgruntled residents who started hitting and throwing bottles at the police vans.

The mob evidently wanted them to hand over a suspect who had been taken in for questioning.
