She loves her sport and has participated in various sporting codes, representing the SAPS

Uthukela Cluster voluntary peer educator, Senior Admin Clerk AC PGM Ntshingila, has 27 years’ service in the SAPS, having begun her career in the Local Criminal Record Centre.

She worked her way up through the ranks and besides her normal duties, she attends provincial peer educators meetings and conferences. She in turn disseminates the information she has gleaned at these meetings to station peer educators.

Ms Ntshingila takes every opportunity to sensitise other officers about HIV and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). She sets up displays at the local police station, where officers as well as the public can help themselves to awareness material and condoms.

Ms Ntshingla is described by her colleasgues as a real go-getter, also being part of the Uthukela Cluster SAPS Women’s Network. She has a passion for organising functions and projects, loves her sport and has participated in various sporting codes, representing the SAPS.
