NEWCASTLE CBD – The Department of Water and Sanitation awarded Zuziwe Thwala a certificate for participating in the National Aqua Enduro, held at Pretoria.
Zuziwe was one of six top learners selected from KwaZulu-Natal to represent the province at the national competition.

She was recommended for showing her leadership skills, intellectual and physical abilities that helped her team to achieve third place. She is to be congratulated for her accolades and for once again highlighting that Newcastle High School is a school of opportunity and excellence.
This competition enables learners to get bursaries from the Department of Water Affairs and Sanitation and we urge all grade 11 learners to once again enter this year’s competition.
