An ATM was blown up by robbers at a supermarket in Ezakheni E-Section during the course of last night (May 24).
When the supermarket owner opened for business this morning, he was shocked to see the ATM doors wide open and debris from the explosion scattered all over the place.
At this stage, it is unknown how much cash was stolen.
Forensic staff and police responded to the scene.

A Ladysmith Gazette journalist interviewed a few people living in the area and they said they didn’t hear anything out of the ordinary during the night, and were shocked to see what had happened.
