Al-Imdaad Foundation is serving families affected by lockdown in KZN

The Al-Imdaad Foundation worked closely with local municipalities, Operation Sukuma Sakhe community development workers and ward committees to identify the neediest families

Al-Imdaad Foundation teams continue to serve communities affected by the lockdown in various districts of KwaZulu-Natal. Recent food hamper distributions were generously supported by private bus operators, including Chippas Bus Service and BTI Coach Travels.

Over the past week, food aid distributions have taken place in Greytown, uMzimkhulu, various wards of Ladysmith, and the deeply rural areas of Utivaal and Umhlumayo.

Recent hamper distributions received generous support from private bus operators.

The Al-Imdaad Foundation worked closely with local municipalities, Operation Sukuma Sakhe (OSS) community development workers and ward committees to identify the neediest families.

Support for families affected by the impact of the lockdown will continue in the coming weeks, as the country phases out towards normality.
