Michaelis Private School has moved forward courageously

The teachers are thrilled that connection has been restored by means of virtual classrooms

It seems quite fitting during these challenging times that Michaelis Private School’s motto is MUTIG VORAN, which means moving forward courageously!
The doors of its virtual classrooms opened on April 14, and the teachers and learners alike were all extremely thrilled to see each other again.
As much as people might believe that teachers are enjoying their ‘extended holiday’, this certainly is not the case at Michaelis.
They miss the interaction with the children terribly, they worry about those who do not have ideal home situations and they miss the children’s hugs, smiles and stories.
They even miss their witty comments!
The teachers are thrilled that connection has been restored by means of virtual classrooms, and are grateful they are able to use this platform, but hope to return to the real classrooms very soon.
Michaelis thanks the teachers for adapting, for being creative, for thinking out of the box and working their way around this situation.
It would also like to thank all the parents – the school knows this is not easy for them, especially those parents with children in the lower grades who need a lot of assistance.
Michaelis appreciates and values all their help and input.
May God continue to keep the Michaelis family safely in the palm of His hands, as we move forward courageously during these trying times!
“MUTIG VORAN Michaelis, MUTIG VORAN!”
