1. A local resident had to fork out R2 500 for damages incurred to his vehicle after rocks were placed on the Rensburgdrift Road to prevent motorists from passing without paying money to a group of school boys.

2. Natasha Rivalland and Kendall Hodgson were on a fundraising mission to fly to Poland to commemorate World Youth Day.
