The Oval Raceway saw more exhilarating action on Saturday night.
Results from the race meeting are as follows:
Dullah Jamaloodeen picked up the win in the 1600s division, ahead of Johann de Jager and Eugene Coetzer.
In the 1600 females class, Zaakira Khan was the top racer.
Second place went to the equally capable Shandeera Govender, while fellow speedster, Wilma Lindeque finished in third.
Roux van der Colff sped to the win in the 1660s division.
He was closely pursued by racing prodigy, Tiaan Buys and the seasoned veteran, Pieter Bester Junior.
The Two Litres class saw Gideon Hand race to victory.
Roux van der Colff made it a double on the podium with a second place finish, ahead of Shaukat Khan.
Another veteran in the top, was Boet Buys.
He finished first overall in the Tin Tops division, ahead of the speedy pairing of Wimpie Bezuidenhout and JP Bruin.
Hendrik van der Merwe won the Hot Rods class.
His fine performance was almost outdone by Gideon Hand, another racer seeing double, and Craig Lindeque.
Last but not least, were the go-karts.
Lehani van Rooyen ended in first position, nipping in ahead of Thabo-Jan Ntjobokoane and Sadiyya Ameer.
