UPDATE: Relief as no dog poisonings reported this morning

Residents are urged to keep a vigilant eye on pets

It is ‘wonderful news’ say staff at Estcourt Veterinary Clinic that there have been no reports this morning of dogs being poisoned by temik.

Yesterday two dogs died and temik (which is a deadly pesticide) was found during a post mortem.

A third dog was treated and veterinary staff say it is recovering.

The use of temik for poisoning animals, especially dogs, by concealing it in food is synonymous among house burglars.

Residents are urged to keep a vigilant eye on pets.
