Appeal to break the cycle of poverty

Even if only one family receives R1500, a huge difference will be made

We at the GIFTS OF CHRIST appeal to you to help us support the poor. As you will know, our district is overwhelmed with poor and destitute people; people who are in dire need of food, clothing and housing.

CHURCH OF CHRIST RESTORED has been registered as a non-profit organisation (NPO) with the purpose of meeting the above needs. The Church of Christ Restored will minister as the Gifts from Christ. We would appreciate a monthly pledge.

Even if only one family receives R1500, a huge difference will be made. The children of that family will have a plate of food every day and won’t go to bed hungry. Perhaps you, as a business owner, could pledge to help.

Perhaps you feel you could plough back into the community that supports your business and therefore you can jot this donation down as part of your budget this year.

You will qualify for a tax deduction for the whole donation amount at the end of the financial year. Our vision is also to look at housing for those who qualify.

We are discussing these houses and when the plan is finalised, we will draw up the plan and register it with the municipality. We, as the community of Estcourt, should not allow people in our region to suffer or children to go to school without anything to eat. Together, we can make a difference. Are you willing to help?
If so, please contact us at Gifts from Christ for more information; George Briedenhann on 078-850-0379, Hamilton Campbell on 060-340-2293 or Ronald Ivan on 072-446-9724.
