Successful sponsored Skaapdag on the greens at Estcourt Golf Club

The Skaapdag, sponsored by Paul Fick, attracted a field of 50 players. The winners on 92 points were Gordon Chotu, Kamy Baboolal, Viren Omardath and Deejay Ramdhav.

Second on 90 points, on a count-out, went to Mark Gillit (Sport), Nkosi Khuzwayo, Charl Schaanick and Jacques Bezuidenhout.
Third went to George van Niekerk, Arnold Boettiger, Rajen Goodoo and Naveen Rajkoomar, also on 90 points, followed by our sponsor Paul Fick, Ryk Neethling, Jackson Fick and another Jackson Fick.
The jackpot was won by three teams, as well as the two-clubs, which was donated back to the club. The wors rolls after the game, also sponsored by Paul Fick, went down very well.
The captain welcomed the visitors and thanked all the golfers who turned up for the day. The Skaapdag is held on the last Saturday of the month and we thank all of those who have sponsored the ‘skaap’.
The February Skaapdag will be sponsored by Delia and Bruce Le Roux. The Wednesday competition, sponsored by Rite Watch, was won by George van Niekerk and Paul Wagenaar.
The Pick ‘n Pay nine-hole competition was won by Dave Diedrick on 19 points. Saturday is the Monthly Mug, as well as the Mug of Mugs for 2019, not forgetting the shoot-out at 10am for the Gerry Motors trophy.
