A man was attacked by vicious dogs in Reservoir Road recently.
Taking an afternoon walk, he was shocked when three Alsatians ran out of their yard and attacked him. The man told the Ladysmith Gazette that he tried in vain to fight off the aggressive animals.

A resident who lives in the area saw what was happening and immediately came to his rescue, chasing the dogs away.
The man sustained serious injuries to his legs and was immediately taken to the doctor.
“I want the community, especially children, to be aware of the danger of dog attacks. Not all dogs are friendly, so you need to always have your wits about you if you’re walking past houses and you see that the gates are open,” said the injured man.
