Successful gold day puts local company in the driver’s seat

Pierre van Niekerk walked away with first prize, followed by Mandla Mtshali and Jannie Fourie

On Saturday, Mascor Volkswagen hosted its annual golf day at the Vryheid Golf Club.
There were 35 players in total, which was said to be a disappointing number of entries compared to the previous year.
Unfortunately, a time delay prevented the company properly advertising the event, but regardless of the obstacles, it was still a successful day for both the company and the players.
Pierre van Niekerk walked away with first prize, followed by Mandla Mtshali and Jannie Fourie.
Mascor Volkswagen presented the winners with prizes ranging from a boot organiser and cool boxes to key rings, caps and designer water bottles.
The company thanked the local golf club for allowing it to host the event, and the winners and players who supported the day.
Organiser of the event, Marco de Wet invited players to diarise next year’s Mascor Volkswagen Golf Day, with details to be communicated in due course.
