Driving towards a better Christmas for children

“We at Audi decided to take the opportunity to reach out to the children's homes in town,” said Quintin Rheeders of Audi.

Santa Claus is coming to town, albeit not in his usual reindeer-drawn sleigh.

Audi Newcastle has embarked on a campaign, Share the Joy Newcastle, Make Newcastle a Better Place, to raise funds to warm the hearts of children in children’s homes this Christmas.

“It is the time of year where every child needs something special. We at Audi decided to take the opportunity to reach out to the children’s homes in town,” said Quintin Rheeders of Audi.

“We would like to involve the community. While homes such as St Anthony’s and Morester get funding, it is not always enough to spoil the children, and what child does not want a present on Christmas?”

Funds will be appropriated to buy gifts and necessities for the children of Home Meah, Morester Children’s Home, and St Anthony’s, as well as Umephi, Siyathukthuka and Lungisani children’s homes during the first week of December.

“If anyone would like to donate to our cause, they can send us an email on info@audicentrenewcastle.co.za or contact Thea de Necker on 034 370 8700,” Mr Rheeder said.
