Estcourt#United Facebook group invites you to a picnic

A meet and greet followed by a picnic will be held at Fort Durnford

We have officially rolled into peak picnic season. Picnics are naturally festive, no matter when you have them; a chance to eat casually without the formality of being indoors.

So if you are looking for a fun activity that is suited for a lonely neighbour, couples, friends, co-workers or families, why not indulge in a picnic with picturesque views on historic ground?

The Estcourt#United Facebook group are set to host a picnic on December 16 (Day of Reconciliation) at Fort Durnford.

Everyone is welcome; there is no entry fee involved. The organisers have one request, namely that attendees come with their own picnic baskets containing treats, refreshments and snacks, as well as something extra for those who may not have.

The aim is purely for locals to meet and greet, to socialise, have fun and relax. It will also be great to take in some of the town’s rich history. Don’t miss out; join in on the spirit of togetherness.
