Food-fun-fishing and festivity at Senior Citizens year-end function

As the year nears its end, the Estcourt Senior Citizens Club held its year-end function last Wednesday at Wagendrift Dam.

After many weekly meetings (having lost some members), outings and even hosting a dinner & dance, the elderly set out to relax and enjoy the day together.

Even though it was extremely hot, the seniors did not let that spoil their fun.

They sang together, played games, fished, braai’ed, received gifts, and some even had a go on the roundabout and swings.

Scrumptious treats were enjoyed ahead of lunch, and laughter was heard echoing from the clubhouse throughout the day.

A memorable day was had by all who attended.
