Vryheid makes a difference, one pint of blood at a time

On Friday and Saturday, the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) held another successful blood drive at two separate venues in Vryheid.
This was the final drive for the year, with more set for 2020.
Donor Relations Practitioner for SANBS, Shavani Sewpaul told the Herald there had been a definite increase in Vryheid regarding the donating of blood.
She thanked Vryheid donors for their selflessness in saving lives.
Sewpaul also commented on the positive attitude shown by locals towards the regular SANBS blood drives.
Dates of donor drives in the new year will be communicated in due course.
