Season’s greetings from the Vryheid Herald team

"We wish you a prosperous New Year and a blessed Christmas - see you next year!"

In retrospect, we can for certain say that 2019 was a challenging year at the Vryheid Herald.
There were highs and lows, with emotions getting the upper hand in some heartbreaking situations, and tears of joy which would overwhelm when those heartwarming stories came by.
Some of those lows were when close to the middle of the year, the Herald sadly lost two staff members in Estella Naicker and Natasha Langenhoven, who both moved on to greener pastures.
This was not to be the end of the changes, with Sine Twala and Elaine Doherty-Bigara Rodway also following their hearts and moving on.
But as the saying goes, with every dark cloud there is a silver lining and two new faces joined the Herald.
These two new faces aim to bring the community up to speed with all the latest news, entertainment views and sport from around the area.
Another highlight was the Herald moving to a brand new premises on Landdrost Street at the end of November.
The Herald team is ready and excited for all the new challenges that 2020 has to offer.
We will continue to bring you the latest stories, design your advertisements and see to all your needs in terms of classifieds.
The Vryheid Herald thanks all of its loyal readers and clients.
“We wish you a prosperous New Year and a blessed Christmas – see you next year!”
