Viren Mungru comes out on the top in thrilling win
A darting victory for Umtshezi Darts Association member 'Van Gerwen'
Viren Mungru (known as Van Gerwen) is ecstatic about his recent victory in the 2019 Umtshezi Darts League.

Viren beat off a strong Umtshezi A side to emerge as the winner. In second place was Hemraj Jhekarran and third Rajen Goodoon. Viren scored 702 – tons; 125 – 140s; and 11 – 180s.
“Winning the league in Estcourt is no easy task because the A-side team is ranked among the best in KwaZulu-Natal and South Africa. Beating them all takes something very special,” said Viren.
He thanks his family for their support during the year.
“A special thank you to my wife, Natasha, for buying me a Van Gerwen T-shirt and Van Gerwen’s original darts, all the way from the United Kingdom,” he added.
