Club captain excels in a humid Durban

Congratulations to club captain, Marlene Beän, who took part in the Tinman Triathlon Series event last Sunday.
This leg of the event combined a one kilometre sea swim, a 32km road cycle near the Moses Mabhida Stadium and a 10km road run on the Durban promenade. It was a hot day in front of the Suncoast Casino. Marlene finished in an excellent time of 2:23:19 and the club hoped this was the first of many more for her. Members are reminded about the summer time trials on Thursdays, from 5.30pm at the club.
