A stitch in time saves dozens

Ikhaya Lethu Children's Home were the beneficiaries of dozens of items made by the Estcourt Knitting Club

Estcourt Knitting Club members happily handed over all their knitted items to Noel Robson from Ikhaya Lethu Children’s Home in Colenso.

October 23 was no ordinary gathering for the ladies; time was taken to hand over all their knitted items such as blankets, hats, gloves, jerseys and scarves to the children who reside at the home.

Mr Robson shares the history of the children’s home with the ladies.

Mr Robson expressed his heartfelt thanks to the club. He received six boxes and four bags full.

The ladies wasted no time; straight after the handover they continued knitting for next year.
