Shepstone Place players and friends put on an amazing reproduction of ‘Hansel and Gretel’ this past weekend.

The Moth Hall was jam-packed with audience members waiting in anticipation for the show to kick off.

And when it did… the crowd began laughing their socks off and looking on in awe.

Young and old enjoyed the interactive pantomime in aid of Shepstone Place Home for the Aged.

The board members, management, staff and residents of the home wish to express a very big THANK YOU to Margie and Roger Haynes, the cast, team and everyone involved in the production. It was a wonderful show that was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended.

Thanks also to the Lions Club of Estcourt for the generous donation of R9000 which, together with the proceeds from the play, will be used for the refurbishment of the bathrooms at the home.
