Shelter receives funds raised from Family Fun Run / Walk
R5000 was donated to the Estcourt Animal Shelter
“This is a huge donation and we are so grateful,” said Estcourt Animal Shelter committee member David McFie about the R5000 raised at the Family Fun Run / Walk held on September 29.

This annual event is hosted by Estcourt Spar, Wimpy and Tops… and this year, the Estcourt Animal Shelter was the non-profit organisation that was nominated to receive the funds.
Mr McFie was presented with the donation last Tuesday and he was visibly appreciative.
“We thank the organisers and community for supporting the shelter. We receive regular donations from Estcourt Spar that include meat as well as cat and dog food that is placed by customers in the trolley outside. They have really been wonderful,” commented Mr McFie.
