Career Day is an annual event on the ML Sultan Estcourt Primary School calendar. Grade 7 learners get the opportunity to research a career and submit a written account of their findings for assessment.
This year, Career Day was held on October 4.

The learners got to dress up as doctors, teachers, police officers, paramedics, social workers and several other extraordinary careers.
Special guest Noluthando Zuma, a qualified lawyer, not only motivated the learners to work diligently and consistently, but also inspired them to reach for the stars. Her message was clear: Believe in yourself, work hard and you will excel at anything you put your mind to.

The school thanked Noluthando for her talk and wished her the very best in her future endeavours.
It was exciting when two police officers also arrived in a clearly-marked police vehicle.
Constable Dlamini and Constable Mkhize addressed the learners about the harmful effects of drugs, alcohol and gangsterism. Constable Dlamini emphasised the importance of choosing a career that suits one’s interest, ability, as well as personal characteristics.
