Ms Buckus frantically informed the media in the hopes that no one falls victim to this alleged scam.

“Two weeks ago, a staff member from a local business called me to enquire if I run a soup kitchen. It had been brought to their attention that the woman in question is requesting cash donations, stating that I run a soup kitchen,” she explains.

She went on to clarify that: “I do not run any soup kitchen and I am worried that the culprits are using my name. I am aware that this woman has used another local organisation’s name to get money out of people.”
