MUST READ: Lunchtime collision in CBD
The Newcastle Traffic Department and emergency service, ER24, were on scene.
CBD – A bakkie and a light delivery van collided at the intersection of Hardwick and Harding streets at around 12.30pm today.

The Newcastle Traffic Department and emergency service, ER24, were alerted to the incident.
Officers recorded statements of the incident from the vehicle owners. Both drivers of the vehicles involved in the incident declined to comment to the media.

The cause of the incident is unclear and remains subject to police investigation.
Paramedics on scene reported there where no injuries or casualties.
