Orlando shooting victim could be South African

NEWCASTLE – As the world at large reels over the senseless killing of 50 innocent people, and 53 more injured at the hands of a gunman who opened fire at a nightclub in Orlando, US, it has surfaced that one of the victims could be a South African citizen.

According to eNCA, the South African International Relations Department is investigating the possibility that a man named Peter Gonzalez-Cruz, aged 22, who was also killed at the gay nightclub, Pulse, could be be from Benoni, South Africa.
