ML Sultan Estcourt Primary choir deliver outstanding performances

The choristers at ML Sultan Estcourt Primary School wooed the audience and adjudicators to capture the top position at district level in Ladysmith on May 2 and 3.

The junior choir sang ‘Java Jive’ so beautifully and took the big gold trophy for first position.

Clad in stylish costumes, the senior choir delivered an outstanding rendition of ‘I will follow Him’ from Sister Act and also captured first position.

The choristers will proceed to provincial level in Durban on May 28 and 29.  The school management team wishes to thank all members of staff, members of the School Governing Body (SGB) and parents for their contribution.

Special thanks to choir conductress Ms Ngcobo, and Mrs FH Makhathini for training the choir and stitching the costumes.

The school extends its sincere appreciation to choir committee members Mr SP Hadebe, Mrs ZD Zulu, Mr MV Ntlangeni, and Ms AED Appenah.
