A well-known local businessman was robbed and assaulted this evening (May 17) at his home in Bengal Road.
It is alleged that the man was entering his home when four men approached and assaulted him.
An undisclosed amount of cash was taken by the robbers.

Police, including Crime Intelligence Gathering (CIG) officers, and emergency personnel responded to the scene.
The four men are still on the run, and police are investigating a case of house robbery and assault.
