Dundee Secondary’s top ten

The school's top 10 indicates how well one learner performs in the classroom. The second term is finished now and learners need to work harder to make sure they receive such honour again in the next term.

Students who have done well in their subjects were handed certificates at Dundee Secondary School. The principal Mr T Mahaye and his stuff stole a few minutes out of their busy schedule to honour those learners who have taken their school work seriously and performed.

The school’s top 10 indicates how well one learner performs in the classroom. The second term is finished now and learners need to work harder to make sure they receive such honour again in the next term.

In grade 12 certificates were handed out for each subject to the learner, who received the highest percentage. Siphesihle Mthanti was the overall top student walking away with three certificates in Physical Science, Geography and Life Orientation. He was followed by JP Van Der Berg who took the Afrikaans and Mathematical literacy certificates.

Grade 12: Mthanti Siphesihle, Rupnarain Roline, Nkosi Celumusa, Harrison Gavin, Gopie Nasheel, Govender Tribana, Parbhoo Shannon, Rabothata Nokuthuba,Nosi Mfanafuthi and Hlatshwayo Nokuphila.

Grade11: Masondo Jabulile, Dlamini Sanelisiwe, Nene Minenhle, Buthelezi Simphiwe, Sithole Nomkhosi, Myaka Nontobeko, Shabangu Nompilo, Khumalo Bongumenzi and Anderson Burt.

Grade10: Langa Portia, Nhlengethwa Sibukiso, Sigubudu Sithandiwe, Khumalo Noluthando, Sibiya Nkosinathi, Ndlovu Danielle,Luswazi Abongile, Mkhize Sithembiso, Langa Asanda and Zwane Nokwanda.

Grade 9: Naidoo Janelle, Cele Farryne, Ntuli Ternal, Buthelezi Siyamdumisa, Ziqubu Nonhle, Nzuza Slindile, Msimang Kwanele, Zungu Minenhle, Mtshali Mukeliwe and Shabalala Thembelihle.

Grade 8: Mkhize Nontokomalo, Skhonde Nomalungelo, Ramadhini Terosha, Soobramoney Preasen, Ndlovu Thululinde, Sibiya Asanda, Langa Nonhlanhla, Manyoni Andile, Zulu Luzela and Khumalo Melusi.
