Northern Kwa-Zulu Natal Children’s Cultural Festival lights up the stage
Children express their talents and in doing so ingest all the rich values of religion
The Ramakrishna Centre of South Africa hosted the annual The Northern Kwa-Zulu Natal Children’s Cultural Festival in Newcastle on May 6.

Youth from Estcourt, Glencoe, Ladysmith and Newcastle participated in the festival, which comprised of cultural dances, short plays in the form of sketches, speeches, devotional songs done with melody and a variety of instruments.
This festival has always been the biggest annual event in the Ramakrishna Centre’s calendar where children express their talents and in doing so ingest all the rich values of religion and scriptures.

The essence of this function is to rekindle in the community a better quality of life, arouse the cultivation of spiritual values, morals, and ethics including faith in God and develop mutual love and respect.
