The first round of the Emalahleni Orators competition was hosted by Drakensberg Primary School, on September 19.
With 20 children participating in the informative and the persuasive categories, the adjudicators from Emalahleni were impressed with the pupils who proved they had the gift of the gab.Through the high level of entrants, 12 Drakensberg Primary pupils will be competing in the national competition on November 7.
The representatives from the primary school will be Londeka Mthethwa, Khanyisele Mthembu, Aphiwe Dlamini, Sdudla Hlongwane, Grace Gwatidzo, Ntando Ratlala, Syamthanda Magubane, Anele Madela, Owami Zwane, Aphile Ngcobo, Sinaka Mbuyazi and Lesedi Mangope.
