Three vehicles involved in CBD smash

Three motor vehicles were involved in a collision in the Central Business District on October 3.

The smash occurred on the corner of Hardwick and Murchison streets.

“Three people were injured, but only two were transported to hospital,” said KwaZulu-Natal Emergency Medical Services spokesperson, Robert Mckenzie.

The cause of the collision is unclear, however local authorities were on scene to investigate.

One killed in late-night crash

A heavy motor vehicle and two light motor vehicles were reportedly involved in a collision on the N11 on Monday night.

The initial report claimed one person was killed in the smash. A further three patients were injured.

The cause of the collision is unclear at this stage. However, the matter is currently under investigation.
