Machine cuts worker’s thumb off
EMRS emergency personnel responded and stabilized the injured man before transporting him to hospital
A worker’s thumb was cut off this morning (September 20) at one of the factories in the industrial area.
It is believed that, just before 8am, the worker was operating one of the machines at the factory when his thumb got caught in the whirling blades. The finger was severed by the machine.
EMRS emergency personnel responded and stabilized the injured man before transporting him to hospital.
