Awande makes the grade

AWANDE Mbuli attended the KZN Provincial Tennis Trials in Pietermaritzburg on the weekend of February 26.

The best players from each region in KwaZulu Natal attend these trials. Awande was the third player for the NKZN team. On Friday and Saturday they played against three different regions and on Sunday they played against one other region.

On Sunday she was included in the playoff round where she had to continue to persevere in order to be chosen for the provincial team. We would like to congratulate Awande whose hard work paid off, as she indeed made the Provincial KZN Team and will participate in the national tournament in Bloemfontein during the April holidays.
