Female police officers help school

The ladies felt the need to uplift the learners

Brookfield Combined School is a small school situated on the Harrismith road outside Ladysmith.

The school was adopted by a small group of members from Ladysmith SAPS and has been given support during the last four years. 10 ladies from Ladysmith SAPS, who are part of a group that are busy with various activities during Women’s Month, visited the school on Friday.

The ladies felt the need to uplift the learners.

They took along stationery, fruit and vegetables, as well as a soccer ball and netball. The learners were excited to have the ladies visit and they enjoyed a short game with them.

Capt A Breytenbach, Captain HH Dlaimini, Sgt PG Tshabalala, Admin Clerks B Ngobese, TP Mdakane, C van Wyk, A Khoza, SB Simphiwe, W Tshabalala and NH Kunene were in the group.
