The Anderson Properties team made sure their slippers and hearts were in the right place, through their contribution to Slipper Day today.
Slipper Day is one of the Reach For A Dream foundation’s biggest fundraisers.
Residents nationwide could make a donation of R10 for a sticker and wear their slippers all day, aided by Wimpy which offered a free coffee and mug for those who helped out.
Last year, this project saw R2,66-million raised.
This money went toward children fighting life-threatening diseases, Reach For A Dream’s website explained, and this year the target is R4-million.
“We are opening satellite offices across the country, to extend our reach and help more children fighting life-threatening illnesses.”
