Drug dealers get rich off people’s suffering

Drugs are taking control of our children and not only is this destroying their own lives, but these children then abuse their parents

Editor – I would like to commend our local police officers for the fast and efficient arrest of two suspects for the murder of Mrs Zarina Moola. The manner in which Mrs Moola was brutally killed is horrifying; one would not expect this from children who grew up in front of us.

A million questions float in one’s mind, such as “what drives people to behave in such a barbaric way, going to the extreme and taking a person’s life?” It is simple, though, really: drugs are taking control of people who have fallen victim to this form of abuse.

There seems to be a clear indication of what’s happening in Ladysmith. Drugs are taking control of our children and not only is this destroying their own lives, but these children then abuse their parents.

In the worst case scenario, elders are using drugs with their children.

Now tell me, what has happened to respect? How can elders encourage children to slowly kill themselves? Clearly, it appears that these smokers don’t care who is making a ‘skyfe’, as long as it’s being made!

It is very sad what is happening in this small town; not only for the poor drug addicts, but the rich as well.

Parents work hard to build their family business for their children to take over one day, only for them to run it bankrupt.

These parents shed tears every day, their curse for slowly killing their children.

You will pay the price one day, if not in this lifetime then after death.

As a resident of Ladysmith, I appeal to the men in blue to clean up this town by taking down the ‘drug lords’. They are uncouth human beings, getting rich overnight by destroying people’s livelihoods. It’s pretty obvious and quite easy to identify drug dealers, so why are the police not arresting them?

Come on, ‘boys in blue’, your children could also become drug addicts or your family could be murdered by an addict to support their habits.

Let us stand together and get rid of these drug dealers. They are selfish and useless to mankind.
