Storm water drains damaged by the dozen

Damage of stormwater drain covers in Arbor Park is prevalent.

Several covers have been damaged during passing months, the most recent in Magnolia Road.

“A truck damaged it last Saturday morning before driving off,” claimed one resident.

It was speculated other drain covers were also damaged or vandalised similarly.

The municipality was contacted to determine when the matter would be addressed, but no statement was forthcoming at the time of going to print.
